What’z the hapz, Bratz?
This Sunday is the Superbowl! Are you totally psyched?!? I dig any opportunity to get together with my besties, eat some fiery foods and cheer at the top of my lungs! And, just like for any other epic occasion, I’m all about dressing the part! Whether you’re cheering for the Seahawks or the Broncos, there are seriously boss looks you can find at home to show off your team spirit!
Jade’s Guide to Funky ‘n’ Fab Football Fashions:
COLORS: Once you know your team colors, it’s super easy to support your team by layering the colors! Cheerleaders should take note! We’re going to look fabulous.
Seahawks colors: blue, silver and bright green
Broncos colors: orange and blue
EYE SHADOW: There are two ways to show off your spirit in shadow. You can paint each eyelid a diff color. For example, if you’re a Broncos fan, color your left eye blue and your right eye orange! Or, use all the colors of your team on each eye. Remember, use the darker colors on the lid and the lighter color above the eye crease. For example, if you are a Seahawks fan, use the darker blue color as eyeliner, cover your eyelid in green up to your eye crease, and then use the lightest color, silver, up to your brow!
NAILS: We are fans of painting every other finger a different team color for alternating awesomeness!
LAYERED SHIRTS: Super easy to do! Bronco fans can wear a blue camisole under an orange shirt. Make sure the blue camisole is longer than the orange shirt and peeks out on the bottom to complete the look. You can also layer your team-colored sweaters, sweatshirts, t-shirts and more! Just make sure the longer shirt is on the bottom.
JEWELRY: Wear it all! Everywhere! We usually recommend being conservative with your accessories, but when it comes to game day, go all out!! I totally encourage you to put on every piece of jewelry you have that is your team colors! The brighter and the danglier, the better!
LACES ‘n’ RIBBONS: Pick up team-colored shoe laces from your local dollar store and then complete the look by adding team-colored ribbons to your hair.
You will shine with team spirit from head to toe!
